Your school’s Career Education Program needs to be uniquely tailored to meet the needs, values and mission of your school.

You want to develop a Career Education Program but don’t know where to start? No doubt time is a problem too. After all, when are you going to have time to do all the reading involved so that you can present some Professional Development to the staff? And then there is the problem of finding time to create your own unique program...

Don’t put it in the “too hard basket”! Jenni Proctor will assist you, at very reasonable cost, to help you bring together your school’s mission and vision, your curriculum, and all the personal and social education programs you are currently offering, to create a Career Education Program that really belongs to your school. One day’s work, with us working together, should be all that it will take to get your program planned. You may then to choose to proceed with additional Career Education Consultancy Services or to continue on your own to implement your program.

• to identify the important components that must be incorporated in your school’s Career Education Program

Do it yourself... but with a guide on the side!

To help you develop your own Career Education Program I plan on writing two guides for teachers:

• Developing your school’s Career Education Program and
• Bringing the world into the school: A guide for developing a Career Awareness Day.

These guides will incorporate not only the information you need, but the timesavers such as letter templates, check lists etc. All the things that take a lot of time to prepare yourself will be freely available for your use, and written in a generic way so that you only have to add in your school name and specific details. This will save you many hours of time and make the whole process so much easier for you.
